*The following store policies apply to all purchases made at The Cajun Hatter:

Payment

We take full payment upfront for all hat sales. This is nonrefundable.

Timeframe

A minimum of a ten month wait should be anticipated for any custom hat. In rare cases, the wait may be up to a year. For an expedited order, when possible, there is an additional charge 0f 20% of the total cost. Customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs related to expediting the order.

Adjustments

We want you to be happy with your hat, and we understand that it is not always easy to get it right the first time, so we will work with you to adjust the design to your liking. Added charges may apply. We only offer service, cleanings, and alterations to hats designed and made by us.

Shipping

All Cajun Hatter products ship from Lafayette, Louisiana on a weekly basis. We provide tracking information upon request, not by default. The customer is responsible for shipping charges, including if a hat must be sent back for any adjustments, repair, or resizing. Payment will be due immediately upon receipt of invoice for shipment of product. The Cajun Hatter is not responsible for shipping delays related to industry materials or the finished product itself due to severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or global economic constraints.

For international orders, additional shipping costs will apply and The Cajun Hatter is not responsible for the payment of any customs, taxes, or tariffs imposed by your country of residence. The Cajun Hatter is not responsible for any delays related to international shipping couriers or various clearance issues. Finally, The Cajun Hatter is not responsible for return shipping costs levied by the courier, nor any additional shipping costs related to returned packages due to failed delivery.

Refunds & Returns

Due to the custom nature of our work, we do not offer refunds, and all sales are final. However, in the event of a rare, unforeseen circumstance, such as supply chain constraints of market fluctuations, causing a delay that exceeds one year, we can assist in obtaining comparable materials for the custom order at no additional cost or provide store credit. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for our semi-custom hats.
